Network management for classrooms must be highly effective and efficient in order to serve the needs of teachers and students in the education environment. Teachers should be able to just focus on providing education to their students, without the hassle of network management problems, too.

Aerohive Networks, the network monitoring solutions company, has recently announced their introduction of a new WLAN administration application called TeacherView. This is a great product for educational institutions as this network management software is specifically targeted for them. The application is designed to decrease the problems that teachers face whenever they use Wi-Fi networks in their classroom. Apart from this, Aerohive have also recently released improvements to their Hive AP Operating System, their WLAN Service Level Assurance capability, as well as their HiveManager Network Management System.

If you've ever felt confused about using network management software, then you may need to enhance your training and skills. Fortunately, Corona Technical Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has included a series of trainings that focus on network management software applications.

This can be very beneficial for network engineers who want to upgrade their knowledge about the latest tools and software developments. One of the major network monitoring applications that is featured by Corona Technical Services is SolarWinds' Orion Network Performance Monitor v10 Management software. It would be highly useful to receive training for this product because it can be extremely difficult to implement and complicated to understand, as well as very expensive. Therefore, Corona receives the highest demand for training on the Orion NPM.

Outsourcing Network Management – A Hot Trend

Outsourcing Network Management – A Hot Trend
© DBreg2007
For a number of years now, it's been a hot trend to outsource network management operations and as a result, many major wireless vendors have been able to grow rapidly. In the case of commercial mobile phone operators in Australia, however, the primary reason for outsourcing network management is the cheaper operational costs.

It has been suggested that managed services vendors like Ericsson and Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) could soon control the daily wireless network management operations. Indeed, this could perhaps be a trend for Long Term Evolution networks. This sort of outsourcing has been seen through NSN's billion dollar deal with LightSquared, a Long Term Evolution networks company. Interestingly, the deal comes with an outsourcing agreement whereby NSN will manage and monitor the network.
